This Sunday marks a huge milestone for Ashlea Trueman—her 100th game for the club! And guess what? She’s the first woman in the history of the club to reach this achievement. Yep, 100 games. That’s a lot of tackles, scrums, and probably a few too many injuries for her liking!

Ashlea has been with the women’s team since the start in 2016. From the very beginning, she’s been a vital part of the squad, consistently showing up, leading by example, and putting in the hard yards. She even captained the team from 2021 to 2024, which—let’s face it—isn’t easy when you’ve got a big bunch of reprobates on your squad.

But aside from her rugby skills, Ashlea’s known for her... well, let’s say “enthusiasm” for all things club-related—especially when it comes to running around with her phone in hand trying to capture the perfect photo or video for the club’s socials. (Though, we’re pretty sure she’d rather have a rum and coke in her hands!)

So, if you want to celebrate Ashlea’s 100th game and support the whole team, head over to Trafford MV this Sunday for a 2pm kick-off. It’s bound to be a cracking match, and it would mean a lot to Ashlea to see you there.

Here’s to 100 games and many more to come, Ashlea!
