The Club is very sad to announce the passing of Peter Parkin, a life member who was an integral part of the old Chelsfield Grove set up as a keyholder, and member of the bar committee. More importantly Peter was genuinely nice guy and a real gentleman. Christine recalls whatever time of the day or night anyone ask for the keys they were met with a smile and a chat and also that Peter was always happy to open up the club on Sunday nights for older members to play dominoes. Peter and Norma's links with the club were further strengthened with their three boys playing at Park and Peter was fixture on the touchline both home and away.
Peter was a big part of Club for a long time and we were lucky to have him as a member for so long.
The funeral will be on 24 August at Charnock Richard crematorium, Chorley at 12 -30 pm.
