Five of the Senior Colts played their first game for the senior club helping the Fours to a resounding 70-40 win against Hope Valley 1

While the First team were running in a great win against Anselmians the future of the club were making their first steps in senior rugby over on pitch two. With no Colts game at the weekend Khalid, the Senior Colts captain, and Kieron, both coming off playing Lancashire U18s in a thumping of Cumbria, were joined by Calum, Karim and Keenan. Here pictured with 4th team stalwart, and a colts coach himself, Franco. In, what was a very open running game, they all provided a huge amount of dynamism, skill, speed and enthusiasm. Never shirking the physicality and all managing to score at least one try. In my opinion man of the match Keenan showed exactly the type of attitude that will see these players making a real impact at Broughton Park in the years to come. Watch out 1st team your days are numbered.
