We are very sad to report the recent death of Alma Light, wife of Arthur
Light, who was our Club President from 1997 – 1999; we were informed by her daughter Joanne.
Alma suffered a fall at home in mid – November, followed by severe complications leading to her death on 14th January.
Her funeral will be held at 12.00pm Mass, on Friday 31st January at St Bernadette’s in Whitefield, then on to St Joseph’s Cemetery at 1.45pm.
followed by The Wake at “The Sir Robert Peel” Sunnybank.
Alma will be at The Chapel of Rest, Lilleywhites. Prestwich, from Thursday afternoon onwards. Donations to The British Heart Foundation via Lilleywhites.
