"Where did you get that mongrel from?" Who said this?

It was non-other than British Lion and England centre, Jeremy Guscott, after having a torrid time playing against Sale's Graham Higginbotham. Graham wasn't your identikit centre. He was 'jokingly' called a prop by a commentator on a televised match. However, thinking that you only had a prop against you was a big mistake. Graham had all the silky skills and speed of the best centres whilst also being a fearsome tackler as Jeremy Guscott found out. One of the highlights of watching Broughton Park at the old ground was 'up and unders' with 'Higgy' charging the guy about to catch the ball. There used to be a picture on the website of one of these fearsome charges with the look on the catcher's face as Higgy was about to destroy him, was like the proverbial rabbit caught in the headlights.

Good to see Graham on the coaching team down at 'Park. Could he have had some influence on 'Park's current miserly points against record.
Last three away games 0, 0 and 3. Clean sheets in Rugby are rare. 46 points against in 6 games, an average of less than 8 against per game. If the aberration of the first game against Sefton, where 24 points were scored against, are taken out, then the average for the last 5 games is less than 5.
